Rules & Regulations

• This program is restricted to licensed real estate professionals only: Real Estate Agents & Brokers, Developers, Sales & Marketing Teams, and Mortgage Brokers
• All participants must provide valid professional license documentation or proof of professional affiliation
• All participants must be 21 years or older
• Must have completed at least one qualifying transaction in the past 12 months from the date of registration for the program
• All transactions must be conducted within Canada to qualify for the program
• Corporate entities must designate a single representative for participation

Point Value

• Each $500,000 CAD in transaction value earns 1 point
• Points are calculated as whole numbers only (no decimal points)
• Rounding system: Transaction values are rounded up to the next possible point amount (e.g., $751,000 CAD rounds up to 2 points as it's closer to $1,000,000 CAD than $500,000 CAD)
• Points cannot be transferred between participants

Qualifying Transactions

• Residential and commercial real estate sales
• New construction sales
• Development project completions
• Mortgage originations and refinances

Documentation Requirements

• Signed purchase agreements or closing statements
• Commission statements or payment records
• MLS records where applicable
• Documentation must be provided only if selected as a winner for verification purposes

Entry Process

• Complete online registration form with all required information
• Pay $2,000 CAD per point earned
• All transaction values and fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

Flexible Registration Options

• Participants are not required to register all available points from a single transaction
• Example: A $2,000,000 CAD transaction earns 4 points, but participants can choose to register only 1 point
• Each point requires a separate $2,000 CAD registration fee when activated

Refund Policy

• Participants may request a full refund within 30 days of registration
• After 30 days, refunds are subject to a 20% administrative fee
• No refunds are available once the quarterly drawing has been triggered

• Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method

Payment Security

• All payments processed through secure, encrypted channels
• Payment confirmation sent via email
• Full transaction records maintained for audit purposes

Prize Pool Breakdown

• Grand Prize: 1 winner × $300,000 CAD = $300,000 CAD
• Second Tier: 2 winners × $50,000 CAD = $100,000 CAD
• Third Tier: 2 winners × $25,000 CAD = $50,000 CAD
• Fourth Tier: 10 winners × $5,000 CAD = $50,000 CAD
• Total Prize Pool: $500,000 CAD

Winner Selection

• Random drawing conducted by certified third-party auditor
• Each registered point equals one entry in the drawing
• Winners cannot win multiple prizes in the same drawing
• Drawing held within 30 days of reaching 400 points

Prize Distribution

• Winners notified within 48 hours of drawing
• Winners must provide complete transaction documentation within 2 weeks of notification
• Required documents: signed purchase agreements, closing statements, commission records, and MLS records (where applicable)
• If a winner fails to provide adequate documentation within the 2-week deadline, they forfeit their prize and a new winner will be drawn from remaining eligible entries
• Prizes paid via certified check or wire transfer after successful verification
• Prize payment completed within 30 days of winner verification

Drawing Trigger

• Drawing automatically triggered when 400 total points are registered
• Registration closes immediately upon reaching 400 points
• No additional entries accepted once trigger point reached
• Any points registered after the 400-point trigger will automatically roll over to the next quarterly drawing

Drawing Procedure

• Conducted by independent, licensed auditing firm
• Random number generator certified by gaming commission
• Drawing witnessed by minimum of three independent parties
• Complete video documentation of drawing process

Timeline

• Day 0: 400 points reached, registration closes
• Days 1-7: Final verification of all participants
• Days 8-15: Drawing preparation and setup
• Day 16-30: Official drawing conducted
• Days 31-60: Winner verification and prize distribution

General Terms

• All participants must agree to complete terms and conditions
• DeedDraw reserves the right to verify all submitted information
• False or misleading information results in immediate disqualification
• All decisions by DeedDraw management are final

Dispute Resolution

• All disputes resolved through binding arbitration
• Arbitration conducted under British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre (BCICAC) rules
• Venue for arbitration: Vancouver, British Columbia
• British Columbia and Canadian federal law governs all aspects of the program

Limitation of Liability

Platform Availability:

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• DeedDraw is not liable for temporary service interruptions, technical issues, or system maintenance
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible

Data Protection:

• We maintain regular backups and security measures to protect your data
• Users are responsible for maintaining their own records of transactions and certificates
• DeedDraw is not liable for data loss due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., cyber attacks, natural disasters)

Financial Limitations:

• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the registration fees paid by the affected participant
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Participants are responsible for accurate tax reporting if required

Force Majeure:

• DeedDraw is not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• This includes but is not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or third-party service failures
• Force majeure events may delay or cancel drawing

User Responsibility:

• Participants must report any issues within 30 days of occurrence
• Failure to maintain accurate records may affect prize claims

• Personal information: Name, email, phone number, address
• Professional information: Real estate license number, category, company details
• Transaction information: Property sale documents, MLS numbers, transaction dates
• Account information: Points earned, referral codes, payment history

How We Use Your Information

• Leaderboard Display: Your name and professional category will be publicly displayed on our leaderboard when you have earned points
• Winner Announcements: If you win, your name, category, city, and photo may be used for promotional purposes on our website and marketing materials
• Communication: We use your email and phone number to send program updates, drawing notifications, and important announcements
• Verification: Your license number and transaction documents are used to verify eligibility and calculate points
• Payment Processing: Your payment information is securely processed for entry fees and prize distributions

Public Information

• Your first name, last name, professional category, and city are publicly visible on the leaderboard
• Your total points earned are publicly displayed on the leaderboard
• Winner information (name, category, city, prize amount) will be publicly announced
• Testimonials and winner stories may be featured on our website with your consent

Information Security

• All personal information is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols
• Payment information is processed through PCI-compliant payment gateways
• Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• We implement regular security audits and updates to protect your information

Your Rights

• You have the right to access your personal information at any time
• You can request corrections to inaccurate information
• You can opt-out of promotional communications (program-related notifications are mandatory)
• You can request deletion of your account after all transactions are completed

Data Retention

• Account information is retained for the duration of your participation
• Transaction records are kept for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
• Winner information is permanently retained for transparency and promotional purposes
• Marketing opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently

No Guarantee of Winning

• Participation does not guarantee winning any prize
• Drawing results are determined by random selection process
• Higher points increase chances but do not guarantee selection
• Past participation does not influence future drawing outcomes

Program Changes

• DeedDraw reserves the right to modify rules, prizes, or program structure with 30 days notice
• Changes to entry fees require existing participant consent
• Drawing date may be adjusted based on point accumulation timeline
• Prize values are subject to change based on total pool accumulation

Tax Responsibilities

Prize Taxation:

• Prize winners may have tax obligations depending on their individual circumstances
• Participants are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable tax laws
• DeedDraw recommends consulting with a qualified tax professional

Record Keeping:

• DeedDraw maintains records of all prize distributions for regulatory compliance
• Winners will receive documentation of their prize for their own records

Professional License Verification

• All real estate license information is verified through state licensing boards
• Inactive, suspended, or revoked licenses result in immediate disqualification
• Participants must maintain active license throughout the program period
• DeedDraw is not responsible for verifying license status changes

Third-Party Services

• Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal)
• We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions or data breaches
• MLS data is obtained from third-party sources and subject to their accuracy
• Email delivery depends on third-party email service providers
